Guerrilla Ads Get Real
Online advertising network Real Media, New York, this week will kick-off an
outdoor campaign to get national advertisers to buy media on its network of local newspaper sites. The campaign, by M&C Saatchi, New York, includes posters placed in phone booths near agencies and competitors and at strategic commuter train stops. A wrapped bus in New York will deliver pizza and breakfast to agencies, and buses in San Francisco also will sport ads. A trade campaign began last week.

Designer outlet site Bluefly, New York, and Lycos, Waltham, Mass., have formed a strategic alliance making Bluefly a premier commerce vendor on the portal. Bluefly will be accessible throughout the Lycos Network, including the, Tripod and MailCity sites through advertising, e-commerce and
promotional programs. Those efforts begin this week.

campaign, consisting of tele-
vision infomercials featuring sit-com celebrity spokesmoms Florence Henderson, Shirley Jones and Marion Ross,
supports the site launch
