NEW YORK Stephen Gatfield, former worldwide chief operating officer of Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett, has accepted an offer to become executive vice president of global operations and innovation at Interpublic Group, a new post, the holding company said.

Gatfield, who is expected to start in April, will help streamline operations across IPG agencies and create new models for servicing clients, IPG said. As such, he will work closely with top brass at IPG and agency CEOs.
