Interpublic Media Enlists CFO

NEW YORK Interpublic Media, the entity formed last year to manage and coordinate IPG’s media agency operations, said it has hired Terri Santisi to be its first chief financial officer.

She becomes the second major hire by Mark Rosenthal, who IPG recruited last June to run the newly formed media unit as CEO. In October, Rosenthal hired Nick Brien as worldwide CEO at Universal McCann.

Santisi is a 20-year entertainment industry financial executive who most recently led the media and entertainment practice of accounting firm KPMG. Earlier, she served as general manager of EMI Music North America and CFO of EMI Music Publishing Worldwide.

Santisi will lead all financial operations for Interpublic Media, which oversees Initiative, Universal McCann, Magna Global and other specialist media shops within IPG. She reports to Rosenthal and IPG CFO Frank Mergenthaler.

In a statement, Rosenthal called her arrival “an important step in bringing Interpublic’s media assets together to shape and deliver the next-generation media offering.”

“I look forward to working with the [IPG Media] team in leveraging these assets in order to create rewarding new opportunities for our clients,” Santisi said in a statement.
