Inside Out Tallies in B-to-B Realm

BOSTON The staff of Inside Out Communications will be familiarizing themselves with the finer points of video conferencing, construction equipment and prospecting software following a trio of recent account additions by the independent marketing shop.

The new clients are: Videre Conferencing in Braintree, Mass.; Continental Biomass in Newton, N.H.; and Applied Metrix in Natick, Mass. The shop will handle a range of chores for the clients, from advertising and Web marketing to public relations and research. Combined billings begin in the mid-six figures.

“These wins are important for the agency for several reasons,” said Dean Swartz, vice president of the 12-person shop in Holliston, Mass. “The variety of new accounts continues to expand our client base, which keeps us flexible and our creative fresh.”

In a broader sense, the influx appears to point to an improvement in the overall new-business climate for smaller agencies, Swartz said. Clients are, “deciding they can’t wait any longer before getting proactive regardless of the fact that money to spend may still not be there, and I think that this is always the first step in things coming back.”
