Meridian Advertising in Troy, Mich., has been named agency of record for the Inca Computer Builders chain.
Inca, headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., operates 10 retail stores: four in the metro Detroit area, one in Chicago and five in Southern California. Company executives said they plan to add 150 stores over the next two years.
Meridian will handle print and radio advertising to support ongoing marketing efforts and special programs tied to new store openings.
The account is initially valued at about $4 million, but could grow as the retailer expands into new markets, according to agency sources.
Inca builds customized computers and offers other services including Web site development.
