If the numbers are to be believed (one suspects the true data may be a bit higher), 27 percent of image makers have lied to a superior; 22 percent have lied to a subordinate; 17 percent have written a bad check; 7 percent have lied to the IRS; 5 percent have filed for bankruptcy; and 4 percent have had a DWI. On the issue of adultery, the 14 percent in the chart seems low. The Janus Report on Sexual Behavior estimates that more than one-third of married men and one-quarter of married women have had affairs; the National Opinion Research Center puts the figures at 25 percent of men and 17 percent of women.
