IDG Sales Exec Joins Forbes.com

NEW YORK Forbes.com has tapped Alessandra Lasanta as a regional sales manager, covering Northern California and Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.

Lasanta, 30, replaces Jamie Macy, who left in July to pursue a career in college administration. She will be based in Burlingame, Calif., reporting to Robert Pietsch, Western regional sales director at the online counterpart to Forbes.

Lasanta comes from IDG Communications, where she spent five-and-a-half years in various posts. Most recently, she served as West Coast interactive sales director at the Boston-based technology media, research and events company and before that, as business development manager of IDG.net.
