Hyundai Launches New Sonata Sedan Campaign

Hyundai Motor America this month will launch a new campaign for its 2002 Sonata sedan, Santa Fe, its XG350 entry-level luxury car. The tagline for the effort is “Driving is Believing.”

Six spots slated to run through first quarter 2002 include “Village,” an introductory TV spot for the small SUV. The commercial airs this month.

The ad, shot near Tolouse, France, has a pied piper theme, and features Ian Anderson’s “Thick as a Brick” which the Jethro Tull front-man and flutist re-recorded for Hyundai.
