Sears Parts With Promo Shop Einson Freeman

CHICAGO—Sears, Roebuck and Co. has dropped Einson Freeman as its promotional shop, and Wunderman has picked up the agency’s business, sources said. Einson Freeman, a WPP Group shop under Ogilvy & Mather, handled primarily hard goods for the Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based retailer. Wunderman, a WPP shop aligned with Young & Rubicam, earlier took over full-line store promotions from Einson, sources said. The move is not expected to change Sears’ relationship with its two general ad agencies, Ogilvy and Y&R.
