Long Haymes Carr Gains 3 Local Accounts ATLANTA--Long Haymes Carr in Winston-Salem, N.C., continued its recent account win streak with assignments from a trio of local clients. Revell-Monogram, a maker of high-end collectible model cars, confirmed it signed LHC as agency of record for its Die-Cast division in Davidson, N.C. The agency has created print ads and direct mail to introduce the division's Revell Collection Club line. LHC is also breaking a print, radio and outdoor campaign for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Sterrett Dymond Stewart in Charlotte, N.C., previously handled the account on a project basis, the client said. Finally, per the agency, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. in Winston-Salem, invited LHC to work on creative concepts for Doral cigarettes; Coyne Beahm in Colfax, N.C., is agency of record for Doral. Billings for the three assignments were not disclosed. Price/McNabb Gets Starbucks Coffee ATLANTA--The Southeast portion of Starbucks Coffee Co. has gone to Price/McNabb in Charlotte, N.C., according to the agency. The field for the $500,000 account--which will consist primarily of local store marketing and public relations--included two Atlanta shops, Pringle Dixon Pringle and Tausche Martin Lonsdorf. Price/McNabb has been working with Starbucks on a project basis with some of its units in the Carolinas, and the deal will not affect the client's relationship with its national agency, BBDO West in Los Angeles. Baldwin Heads for McKinney & Silver ATLANTA--Officials with McKinney & Silver last week named David Baldwin senior vice president and executive creative director. Baldwin will join the Raleigh, N.C., agency Jan. 5. He replaces Pat Burnham, who left the shop earlier this year. Baldwin, 35, was most recently senior vice president and creative director at Leonard/Monahan in Providence, R.I. Accounts Roundup ATLANTA--Decorating Den Systems, an in-home decorating firm in Bethesda, Md., with 700-plus franchisees, tapped AbramsonEhrlichManes in Washington, D.C., to reposition its operation. Industry sources estimate the budget at $1-2 million. . . Thompson & Co. in Memphis, Tenn., was named agency of record for Memphis Triple-A Baseball, which launches its inaugural season next spring as an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. Billings were not revealed. . . Another Memphis shop, Sossaman Bateman & Associates, was tapped to promote next spring's "Ancestors of the Incas" exhibition as part of the city's Wonders: The Memphis International Cultural Series. The budget is $500,000. . . Miami's Bates USA South pulled in two accounts totaling more than $1 million combined: BusOne, a luxury double-decker motor coach with non-stop service from Miami to Orlando, Fla., and Napp's Development, a Norwegian restaurant developer.
