A WestWayne, Intitiative Media Win BellSouth
ATLANTA–The tandem of WestWayne and Initiative Media Worldwide has won BellSouth’s $120 million media planning account, confirmed a representative of the client. The two Atlanta divisions were competing against Merkley Newman Harty, New York, for the Atlanta-based telecom’s consolidated business, which was split among the contenders. Initiative already handles BellSouth’s media buys, and WestWayne was recently awarded the client’s consolidated wireless business. Wanamaker, the Atlanta consultancy, conducted the review.
