– Digitas to Begin Trading This Week
BOSTON–Trading of shares in Digitas is slated to begin Tuesday. Listed on the Nasdaq exchange as DTAS, the Boston Internet marketing services company intends to issue 9.3 million shares of common stock at $18-20 in an IPO. The lead underwriter is Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. According to its most recent statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Digitas reported a loss of nearly $45 million in 1999; revenues grew 53 percent to $187 million in 1999 from $122 million in 1998.
