SDRC Puts $5-7 Mil. Account in Play ATLANTA--SDRC, a Cincinnati-based software company, is seeking an agency for its estimated $5-7 million account, sources said last week. There is no incumbent. Sources said the client is talking to undisclosed agencies in Chicago, New York and North Carolina. Officials with the client did not return calls at press time last week. Packett Group Resigns CFW Wireless ATLANTA--The Packett Group in Roanoke, Va., has resigned its CFW Wireless business because of "philosophical differences," the agency said. A subsidiary of CFW Communications Co. of Waynesboro, Va., CFW Wireless hired The Packett Group earlier this year [Adweek, May 12] over co-finalist Edelmann Scott in Richmond, Va., to launch its new digital personal communications services in eight states. At the time Packett won the account, the budget was estimated at $1 million-plus. Client marketing director Elizabeth Harvard told Adweek CFW had selected another shop, but she declined to name the agency. Community College Enrolls Orlando Shop ATLANTA--Gilbert & Manjura, Orlando, Fla., defeated local shops including Anson-Stoner and First Marketing Group to secure the $700,000 Seminole Community College ad account. G&M is launching TV, print and outdoor ads to enhance the school's image and increase enrollment. 2 Magazines to Launch in South Florida ATLANTA--Targeting Hispanic girls ages 12-15, Quince--the Spanish word for the number 15--will be a bilingual magazine designed to help Latina teens celebrate their 15th birthdays, a rite of passage in the Hispanic culture. Quince is published by Florida Media Affiliates in Coral Gables, Fla., which also issues South Florida magazine, and will premier Oct. 1 at retail sites in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Palm Beach Media Group will introduce Naples Illustrated in January. As a sister publication to Palm Beach Illustrated, the bimonthly will be distributed to affluent residents of Southwest Florida. Editorial will cover Naples' society, philanthropy and fashions. Martin Breaks ThermoLase Campaign LOS ANGELES--Martin Creative L.A., a satellite office of The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., has completed a print campaign for cosmetics and skin care company ThermoLase. Three executions for the client's Spa Thira salons broke in the September issues of women's and fashion magazines. For the Record ATLANTA--Bernstein-Rein in Kansas City, Mo., declined to make final presentations to Rio Bravo Cantina [Adweek, July 28]. . .Sandy Tinsley's title is chairman of Tinsley Advertising, Miami [Adweek, Aug. 25].
