– VitroRobertson Removes Shades
LOS ANGELES–VitroRobertson has resigned the creative portion of Oakley’s estimated $2 million account. The San Diego agency will continue to handle media planning and buying for the Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based fashion eyewear maker. Separately, VitroRobertson broke a national campaign last week for Baskin-Robbins, Glendale, Calif., that included TV and radio ads and an ice cream giveaway.

SAN FRANCISCO–Wes Youngquist and Pat Marcoccia–a new Bay Area creative duo–have landed the $8 million Restoration Hardware account. The home furnishings retailer is based in Corte Madera, Calif.
– Jack in the Box en Espa„ol
LOS ANGELES–Enlace Communications, Santa Monica, Calif., has launched an ad campaign for Jack in the Box restaurants that will air on Spanish-language TV and radio throughout the West. The campaign, titled “Clairvoyant,” promotes the new Chicken Supreme sandwich.

LOS ANGELES–Bulldog Drummond, San Diego, was tapped by to launch a $3 million print, radio and outdoor campaign. The new “Guest” campaign is being created in conjunction with WeddingChannel’s retail partner, Federated Department Stores.
– El Pollo Loco Reprises ‘Dinner and a Movie’
LOS ANGELES–El Pollo Loco and video retailer Hollywood Video have teamed up for their second annual “Dinner and a Movie” promotion. Consumers get a free five-day video rental when purchasing an eight- or 12-piece chicken meal. The promotion, with ads by Dailey & Associates, West Hollywood, Calif., runs through June 25.

Seven agencies are vying for creative and planning on DirecTV’s estimated $65-70 million account. They are: incumbent Campbell-Ewald, Los Angeles; Deutsch/LA, Marina del Rey, Calif.; BBDO West, D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and DDB, all Los Angeles; and GMO/Hill, Holliday and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, both San Francisco. The Los Angeles-based company is expected to make a decision at the end of June. Select Resources International, Los Angeles, is the consultant. … Two shops will square off next week for Iomega’s estimated $30-35 million account. The Roy, Utah-based maker of Zip disk drives and other computer peripherals will hear presentations from FCB Worldwide and Publicis & Hal Riney, both in San Francisco. A decision is expected this month. SRI is the consultant. … Specialty Brands, which plans to launch a line of frozen Mexican-style food under the brand name Jose Ole, narrowed its agency search to Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis; Euro RSCG Tatham, Chicago; and DDB, Dallas. Billings are about $3.5 million. A decision is expected later this month. The consultant is SRI.
