“TBWA/C/D Breaks Phantom Work for Tricon
LOS ANGELES-TBWA/Chiat/Day rolled out the first TV spot last week in an estimated $40 million campaign to support Tricon’s promotional tie-in with the new Star Wars film The Phantom Menace. The spot marked the first time Tricon’s three fast-food brands-Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC-are being featured in the same ad. TBWA/C/D’s Playa del Rey, Calif., office won an internal pitch among Tricon shops several months ago for the assignment.
