McCann in Talks With Hollywood PR Firm
NEW YORK–McCann-Erickson WorldGroup is in discussions with PMK about acquiring the Hollywood, Calif.-based public relations firm, a McCann representative confirmed. If the deal goes through, sources speculate PMK could be folded into one of the marketing services “corridors” in McCann’s WorldGroup umbrella. It would also add to the Interpublic Group of Cos.’ holdings in Hollywood. IPG already owns talent agency Industry Entertainment.
Butterfinger Slips Away From JWT West
SAN FRANCISCO–JWT West’s estimated $10-15 million Nestle Buttefinger candy bar business is being transitioned to the agency’s Chicago office, sources said.
