Arnold Loses AlliedSignal Buys to Grey Unit
BOSTON–AlliedSignal in Morristown, N.J., has moved media buying chores for its Autolite and Fram brands from Arnold Communications in Boston to MediaCom in New York after a review involving only roster shops, sources said. The client opened the review for a consolidated account following completion of its buyout of Prestone last year. That pitted Prestone agency Grey Advertising, parent company of MediaCom, against Arnold, which handled the Autolite and Fram brands for more than a decade.
