Horizon Media continues to expand the leadership of its recently launched units. On Tuesday, the agency announced that it has tapped Michele Donati as director of channel insights for the Where group.
Donati comes to Horizon from Warner Bros.’ TV distribution unit. There, she was the director of sales, research and insight. Prior to Warner Bros., Donati was at MediaVest overseeing connections analytics and research on their Walmart business.
“Michele’s experience in not only uncovering valuable channel insights but using them to create deeper connections will benefit Horizon and our clients alike,” said Eric Blankfein, chief of the Where group, in a statement.
This new hire follows last week’s announcement that Horizon had recruited industry veteran Kenneth Burns to fill the role of managing director of consumer insights for the Why group. The Where group was launched in November and aims to pinpoint where the most effective channels are in reaching consumers, where new channels are emerging and where the most efficient channels in driving business reside. The Why group, which was unveiled not long before its sister unit, identifies cultural and societal trends driving consumer behavior.
