LOS ANGELES At Friday afternoon’s 3 p.m. deadline, the Kauai Visitors Bureau had received seven responses to its June advertising request for proposal.

Kauai Visitors Bureau executive director Sue Kanoho said the majority of the media budget would be applied toward creative print work, although some Internet components are expected.
