Holt Takes Worldwide Post at Rambus

Rambus, a developer of computer-chip interface products and services, has named Sharon Holt senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Most recently, she was vice president and general manager of field operations for Agilent Technologies’ Semiconductor Products Group. At Los Altos, Calif.-based Rambus, Holt will seek to foster relationships with leading semiconductor companies, as well as develop new partnerships and business opportunities worldwide. She started her career at Hewlett-Packard as an applications engineer, and has since held global sales and distribution management positions for strategic OEM accounts.
