NEW YORK Bezos Nathanson Marketing Group this week picked up ad duties for Howard Johnson, making the chain its third Cendant-owned client, the agency said.

Following a monthlong review that included strategic and creative presentations, the seven-person agency bested Publicis Group’s Publicis in Mid America in Dallas, and DeVito Verdi and incumbent Christy, MacDougall, Mitchell, Bodden, both in New York, for the estimated $10 million account.

The newly appointed shop has handled ad duties for Cendant-owned Ramada hotels since July 2002 and for Travelodge since January 2003.
