BOSTON Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos has been chosen to handle advertising for the Museum of Fine Arts here.

Among the Interpublic Group agency’s assignments will be promoting upcoming MFA exhibits such as “Thomas Gainsborough, 1727-1788” and “Rembrandt’s Journey: Painter, Draftsman, Etcher.” The Boston shop will handle both creative and media chores for the client.

The budget has not been determined and recent MFA ads had been fashioned in-house, a client representative said.

“This represents a terrific creative opportunity for us to build on the MFA’s already strong brand,” said Karen Kaplan, president of Hill, Holliday’s Boston office.
