BOSTON Rich Herstek has returned to the local agency scene at independent Partners + Simons, where he will serve as co-creative director with shop president Tom Simons.
Herstek, a copywriter, joined the Boston shop last week after a long stint as a freelancer for various agencies. He will oversee a 15-person team at the shop, which works for a mix of consumer and business-to-business clients.
Through most of the 1990s, Herstek was a principal at Boston-based Houston Herstek Favat, which 10 years ago ranked among the hottest midsize agencies in the country.
