On a gorgeous fall New York evening on the rooftop of New York’s Gansevoort Hotel, Adweek and partner PopSugar hosted a swanky party celebrating this year’s Young Influentials. Between Adweek editorial director handing out personalized growlers to the honorees and a sizzling live set from electro-soul duo Kaneholler, Adweek caught up with several Young Influentials to ask them about the next generation growing up under their tutelage.

Optimism ruled the night, as KBS+’s Ed Brojerdi, GE’s Katrina Craigwell and Periscope’s Kayvon Beykpour described the post-millennials as passionate, driven, energetic and ready to build on an already-deep understanding of tech.
