BOSTON Ziccardi Partners Frierson Mee has landed the advertising account of Harper Collins Publishers, the client confirmed.

The New York shop won the business following a review of undisclosed agencies. Last year Harper Collins spent $12 million on advertising; its year-to-date spending is $9 million, according to Nielson Monitor-Plus.

“We were looking for a creative agency with a strong background in the book business, as well as extensive experience in other product areas. The ZPFM team was the right choice and we look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration,” said Laurie Rippon, senior vice president and creative director at the New York publishing house.
