Hail To The AHAA Chief

Al Aguilar continues to raise his profile while also bringing more attention to the Latino advertising profession.
Aguilar, president and chief creative officer of Bromley, Aguilar & Associates in San Antonio, was chosen president-elect of the two-year-old Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies.
He will officially assume the role in February 1999 from current president Hector Orc’, chairman of La Agencia de Orc’ & Asociados, Los Angeles.
“AHAA is an important voice in the advertising industry. Its leaders have a passion for the business,” said Aguilar.
He was elected at the organization’s semiannual meeting in Miami. AHAA now includes 85 member and associate agencies.
Aguilar also holds the chairman’s post of an Hispanic committee formed last year by the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
