Group Direct Lands The ‘Internet Coast’ Of South Florida

-The Broward Alli-ance business consortium has assigned its estimated $1 million account to Group Direct Advertising.

The Deerfield Beach, Fla., shop won the business in a review that included seven other local agencies.

The branding campaign will promote the South Florida county as a “world-class corporate destination for relocation and expansion.”

South Florida is traditionally viewed as a tourist and retirement destination, but Fort Lauderdale and its three surrounding counties—Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach—have begun referring to the region as the “Internet Coast” to attract e-business.

“What sold us,” said Broward Alliance president Michael Langley, “was GDA’s energy and positive attitude.”
