Pele Cortizo-Burgess has joined WPP’s Grey in New York as executive vice president, chief strategy officer, a new position. Cortizo-Burgess comes to Grey from ITV in London, the biggest commercial television network in the U.K. During his three-year tenure, he set up a key initiative to promote innovation and content development: ITV Imagine. He was later named director of creative strategy for ITV Studios and was responsible for helping create the content maker’s global identity that rolled out worldwide in 2009. His agency experience includes senior-level posts at FCB, TBWA\Chiat\Day and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.
