Los Angeles' GreenLight Media & Marketing tries to bridge the gap among music, artists and brands by creating top-notch experiences for its clients. Founded in 2008 by music industry vets Coran Capshaw, Dominic Sandifer, Bruce Flohr, Nick Davidge and Steve Bender, the agency has brought brands to life with help from big-name music celebs including Tim McGraw, Timbaland and the Jonas Brothers. The agency itself is what you'd expect: a California cool mix of dogs, surfboards and sun-drenched work spaces.
We took a look around and talked with Sandifer, who happens to be on the 2015 Clio Music jury, about the space. "GreenLight is located on the world-famous Sunset Strip," he explained, "right down the street from haunts like the Whiskey [a Go Go] and The Roxy—where great bands like the Eagles, Van Halen and Guns N' Roses debuted—placing GreenLight at the heart of the culture and music that brands want to tap into."
The trunk was used during GreenLight’s first big client project for Gillette.
NBA All-Star Stephen Curry’s Under Armour shoe is among the memorabilia displayed in Flohr’s office.
Flohr’s office is full of personal mementos, including photos of Dave Matthews Band and Foo Fighters, whom he signed to their first labels.
