Graphic Design Award Goes to Object 9

DALLAS Object 9 has won a 2005 American Graphic Design Award for its rebranding of Pabst Brewing Company’s Old Milwaukee product line, the agency said.

Judges selected 10 percent of the 10,000 entries to receive awards. Graphic Design USA, a monthly business-to-business publication for graphic designers, established the awards over 20 years ago to recognize the talents of creative professionals.

“Object 9’s successful brand experience in the beverage industry is a direct result of collaborative client relationships and depth of talent and experience amongst our design team,” said Andy Gutowski, creative director and partner of the independent marketing and design firm in Baton Rouge, La.

“Object 9’s work with Pabst to rejuvenate the OM brand not only re-energized the Old Milwaukee sales and distribution team, but also garnered an enthusiastic focus group response,” said Tim Jacobi, senior brand manager with Pabst Brewing Company.

The shop said it specializes in promotional work for the beverage, packaged-goods, consumer products, educational, telecom, financial, healthcare, manufacturing and gaming sectors. Clients include the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, Louisiana State University, Sprint, Nintendo, Casino Rouge, Aegis Mortgage and Advantis Technologies.
