Grand Ole Opry in Bohan Fold

ATLANTA Bohan has added the Grand Ole Opry as a client following a review against undisclosed agencies, the shop said.

The Nashville, Tenn., shop will handle advertising and marketing for the local client. Pete Fisher, vice president and general manager at the Opry, said that it hopes to reach new audiences and communicate the message that “the Grand Ole Opry is the premier country music entertainment experience.”

Bohan said that it would develop marketing collateral, point-of-sale displays and advertising that will promote ticket sales. The shop also will help Opry increase awareness about its newly renovated Grand Ole Orpy House, a 4,400-seat concert hall where performances are held.

The Grand Ole Opry is owned and operated by Nashville-based Gaylord Entertainment Co. Approximately 70 country artists are members of the Opry, said Bohan. Opry performances air on radio stations such as WSN-AM in Nashville, Stream 132 on Sirius Satellite Radio and www.opry.com. The company also has a syndicated weekly program that airs on more than 200 country music radio stations worldwide.

The agency said that advertising is still in the development stages. Billings were not disclosed.
