NEW YORK Colleen Gowl, a global business director on the Trident and Halls business at J. Walter Thompson in New York, has left the agency, sources said.

Gowl joined JWT in December 2001 to oversee all Pfizer business, including Celebrex, Schick, Trident and Halls. She also was charged with developing a healthcare practice. Last spring, however, her duties on Schick, Pfizer consumer healthcare and Pfizer pharmaceutical were redistributed among three other account executives. And the healthcare practice did not expand beyond Celebrex, a brand that JWT is fighting to keep.
