McCann Erickson just lost another global account.

Lufthansa, which the agency handled at its Berlin office, has hired German shop Kolle Rebbe as its new lead global agency after a review. Annual account revenue is estimated at $12 million.

McCann defended the business but ultimately came up short. Other contenders included BBDO, Scholz & Friends, and Serviceplan Group.

The contract for the creative business runs three years. The first campaign from the new agency, which is based in Hamburg, is expected in March.
