Gillette Selects San Antonio Shop For Hispanic Ads

The Gillette Co. here has selected Bromley, Aguilar & Associates for its $2 million Hispanic marketing account following a review.
The San Antonio, Texas, agency replaces incumbent Vanguard Communications, New York, which defended the business. The shop will continue working with Gillette on projects. Dieste & Partners, Dallas, also participated in the review, said Gillette representative Leslie Card.
A unit of MacManus Group in New York, Bromley was chosen mainly for its ability to provide integrated marketing services across many disciplines, said Card.
The assignment includes some media advertising as well as promotional chores supporting Gillette’s grooming products. Work will focus on the Mach3 shaving system, Card said.
