FRANKFURT – The management trio of GGK Frankfurt – Torsten Hoffmann, Marcus Reiser and Ulrich Schalt – have decided to leave the former IBM agency by the close of the year. This decision apparently has to do with new Austrian GGK owner Hans Schmid, who has started negotiations with British-based GGT about a possible merger of the two groups in order to reduce the network’s debts. The Frankfurt GGK trio was quite successful. During the GGK trio’s three-year-management stint, new clients such as the Bitburg brewery, publisher Gruner + Jahr, Bosch Telecom, the Volkswagen brand Skoda and $19-million Jaegermeister herbal liqueur were gained.
