Rob Gerds has been named senior consultant at Wanamaker Associates.
Gerds, 40, joins the Atlanta-based consultancy after six years at BaylessCronin, where he served as director of client services and management director.
“Rob brings experience, talent and skill,” said Wanamaker chairman Rod Hanlon. “Besides, he was going into the consulting business and we don’t need any more competition.”
Hanlon, 56, also suggested that Gerds’ appointment was part of a “management succession plan” designed to reinvigorate Wanamaker as Hanlon and president Ken Bowes, 65, move toward retirement.
