Georgia Force Is With Kilgannon McReynolds

ATLANTA Kilgannon McReynolds has won a review for the advertising and public relations account of the Georgia Force, an Arena Football League team that plays here, the agency said.

The review included at least three Atlanta agencies. The other two shops were not disclosed. The incumbent, Hope-Beckham, an Atlanta independent, did not defend.

The account went into review a couple of months ago after Arthur Blank, co-founder of The Home Depot and owner of the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons, bought the team. Blank is moving the team’s games from Gwinnett Arena in suburban Atlanta to Philips Arena downtown. The Georgia Force, now in its fourth season, played its first season in Philips Arena before moving to Gwinnett County.

Kilgannon McReynolds, an independent Atlanta shop, said it plans to launch a direct mail campaign next week to promote the sale of season tickets to the games, which begin in January.

Billings for the account were not disclosed.
