Darryl Gehly has been promoted to president of Isobar U.S., the London-based Aegis Group’s digital agency. He will report directly to Nigel Morris, CEO of Aegis Media North America, but will also work closely with other Isobar units around the world.
Gehly, a company veteran, was previously chief client officer at the agency. Before that, he was head of business development at Aegis North America.
Gehly started his career at Aegis Media Group with its purchase of digital shop Molecular, where he was a member of the management team when Aegis acquired it in 2005.
“Darryl is someone who has demonstrated time and again his ability to inspire and lead both internal teams and client brands with fantastic results,” said Morris. “There is so much opportunity in the U.S. market to help brands engage with consumers in new and far more effective ways, and no one sees and understands those opportunities better than Darryl. He is the right person to lead Isobar through this exciting new chapter in the agency’s history.”
