Schwartz Communications has picked up public-relations duties for Gateway’s business-to-business unit, a new assignment. The San Diego-based computer marketer is refocusing on b-to-b efforts after spending the past 18 months expanding its product line. Schwartz’s office here will target Gateway’s customers in the education, government and small-business sectors. Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett is Gateway’s general-market agency.
