LOS ANGELES — The Gap is set to launch a high-profile summer TV advertising campaign, the company said today.

It is the first campaign for the San Francisco-based apparel retailer since it parted with Modernista! in Boston earlier this year. It was developed on a consulting basis by Lisa Prisco, the West Coast creative director behind such previous Gap TV ads as “Khakis swing,” “Khakis Groove,” and “Khaki Soul.”

The three 30-second TV spots feature black-and-white cinematography and promote denim, khakis and the white shirt.
