MySpace has appointed Shari Friedman svp, advertising sales for its Western region. She previously led MySpace’s entertainment sales organization. Prior to joining MySpace, Friedman spent six years at AOL, first as a top seller on the entertainment sales team, and later as regional sales director overseeing all movie and television business. In 2006, she was hired by Fox Interactive Media to build the entertainment sales practice at MySpace and IGN, and she helped raise the team to one of the top revenue producers in the industry.
