Freeman Execs to Form Amalgamated

NEW YORK Three executives have resigned from Cliff Freeman and Partners and will open a boutique shop this month, one of the founders of the new agency confirmed.

Charles Rosen, former director of business development at Cliff Freeman, said that he, Jason Gaboriau and Doug Cameron resigned on June 2 and plan to open Amalgamated, an independent agency in Manhattan’s financial district.

Rosen and Gaboriau, an associate creative director at the shop, had worked at Cliff Freeman for five years. Cameron, a top strategist, was with the agency for six years.

“We’ve really appreciated the opportunity that Cliff has given us over the years and we know we’ll have a long-standing relationship with the agency in the future,” said Rosen.

Freeman could not immediately be reached for comment.
