Free Agents Suits Short Pump Mall

ATLANTA Free Agents Marketing has added Short Pump Town Center to its client roster, according to the shop.

The Richmond, Va., agency said it would develop advertising, collateral as well as public relations initiatives for the retail mall and entertainment complex. Free Agents was hired following a review that included undisclosed contenders.

Short Pump said that it chose Free Agents because its “roots are local and [its] expertise in the community is proven.” Joan Bowling, president of Free Agents, said that the agency has been preparing to handle an account like this for some time.

“Our experience with retail, consumer and business-to-business marketing has prepared us to be an asset to Short Pump Town Center,” Bowling said.

Short Pump is a 12 million square-foot, open-air shopping and entertainment center located in Richmond’s West End, according to Free Agents. The mall includes retailers such as Nordstrom, Hechts, Dillard’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Billings were not disclosed.
