Maybe fans of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will add Subway sandwiches to all the prerequisite paraphernalia they throw around as part of the Rocky movie-watching experience. When the cult film makes its TV premiere on Fox Oct. 25, the network – with help from Subway – will encourage viewers to play along in the same way that’s made the film a late-night theater favorite. Subway will offer info on everything needed to recreate the theater experience – props like rice, rubber gloves and toast, even the ‘Time Warp’ dance steps, as performed by Dr. FrankFurter. If first-timers still don’t get it, they’ll get a ‘how-to’ lesson on screen, as Fox mixes the film with cuts of a live, in-theater showing.
