BOSTON Duffy & Shanley sends up classic 1970s sitcom The Odd Couple in a TV effort for Fox Sports Net New England that breaks this week.

Independent agency Duffy & Shanley replaces series stars Jack Klugman and Tony Randall with Greg Dickerson and Gary Tanguay, hosts of Fox Sports’ New England Sports Tonight in three spots that include retro touches such as laugh tracks and period-era sitcom background music.

Local sports media personalities making cameos in the campaign include Boston Herald scribes Steve Buckley and Michael Felger, radio host Andy Gresh and Providence Journal writer Sean McAdam.
