Foster Farms Picks a New Hispanic Shop

LOS ANGELES Grupo Gallegos said it has added the Foster Farms account and will serve as the client’s full-service agency in the Hispanic market.

Livingston, Calif.-based poultry processor Foster Farms did not hold a review for its business, which was previously held by the San Francisco office of Y&R’s The Bravo Group.

According to TNS Media Intelligence, Foster Farms invested $1 million in Spanish-language media in 2005.

Grupo Gallegos principal John Gallegos said plans for the new client are in development; budgets and a timeframe for launching a new campaign have yet to be determined.

“We are really excited,” said Gallegos. “[The category is in a] very competitive environment. The work is going to have to stand out.”

The shop is located in Long Beach, Calif.
