Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle is expected to plead guilty to charges related to his alleged possession of child pornography, according to Fox 59. He also will reportedly accept a plea deal.
The U.S. Attorney’s office is expected to hold a news conference on Wednesday at which Fogle’s case, including the charges and plea deal, will be discussed.
Subway moved quickly when the story broke earlier this evening, issuing a statement on the brand’s Twitter account. “We no longer have a relationship with Jared and have no further comment,” the brand said in the tweet, which has been retweeted nearly 5,000 times and favorited almost 3,000 times.
