CHICAGO – Dean W. Proctor, Jr., was named to the newly-created position of president at Ayer Chicago last week. Proctor had been executive vp/managing director in account services at Ayer New York for the past two years. During that time, svp/managing director of client services Tim Prosch reported to Proctor. Prosch retains his title. Proctor spent most of his 24-year career in Chicago at a number of agencies including BBDO Chicago and J. Walter Thompson Chicago.
