CHICAGO Draft has promoted David Florence to president and chief operating officer from his previous post of president of Draft International.

In his new role, Florence, 49, assumes daily management of all Draft offices except Chicago and New York. Draft-owned D.L. Blair, a promotions and sweepstakes shop, and the Sloan Group, which specializes in youth and entertainment marketing, will also report to Florence instead of the Interpublic Group shop’s chief executive officer, Howard Draft.

Florence joined Draft in 1988 and from 1994 until last year was president of the New York office.
