Bank holding company FirstMerit Corp. moved its estimated $5 million account to Marc Advertising in Pittsburgh following a review.
W.B. Doner & Co.’s Cleveland office previously handled advertising for the Akron, Ohio-based company.
Kim Ravenda, FirstMerit’s senior vice president of strategic planning and marketing, said in a statement that the $6.3 billion company decided to hire Marc because of its “success developing powerful branding campaigns and revenue-generating programs.”
The client operates 150 offices in northern Ohio offering banking, mortgage and insurance services.
